These figures are estimates to help you quote a job. Adjust the prices to match your local market, dump and disposal fees, fuel, and how you price.
It is a free tool that turns the load sizes and items you are hauling into a fast, itemized price for the job. Instead of guessing or reworking a spreadsheet on every quote, you pick each load or item, set the quantity, adjust the price to match your pricing, and see the subtotal, a suggested range, and a recommended estimate right away.
Add one row per load size, item, or volume. Price by the truck load (a half load, a full load, and so on), by the individual item (an appliance, a mattress, a hot tub), or by volume, where you pick "Junk by volume (per cubic yard)" and enter the number of cubic yards as the quantity. The tool fills in a typical starting price for each, which you can change to match your market. Tick any add-ons such as stairs or same-day service, set your minimum service charge, and your estimate updates instantly.
Junk removal is usually priced by volume: either by how much of the truck the load fills, from a minimum load up to a full truck, or by the cubic yard, which is roughly the same thing measured a finer way (a typical truck holds about 15 to 16 cubic yards). Heavy or single items are priced separately, and a firm minimum keeps a small pickup worthwhile after fuel and dump fees. Weight, disposal costs, stairs, distance, and how fast the client needs it gone all move the price, which is why every price here is editable. Ask for a photo or a quick description so you can gauge the volume before you arrive, keep a firm trip minimum, and price heavy items and stairs separately so they are not a surprise. Confirm what is included and any dump fees in writing before you load. When the job is agreed, our free junk removal quote template and estimate and quote generator turn the same line items into a professional document you can send in seconds.
