When we launched, there were hardly any takers. For two long months we sat twiddling our thumbs. Then our very first customer signed up, a man named Simon. He was a chauffeur in the UK, about as far from the audience we had imagined as you could get.
That one signup taught me everything. There are thousands of professions out there, each with its own quirks, and it is impossible to anticipate them all.
