Billbooks is built to help you send invoices and get paid, not to send spam. We take a strict, no-nonsense approach to unsolicited email across everything we do.
The emails you receive from Billbooks are either transactional (things like your invoices, payment reminders, receipts, and account notifications) or messages you have explicitly opted in to receive, such as our newsletter. Every marketing email includes a clear unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect right away.
The email addresses you add for your clients are used only to deliver the invoices, quotes, estimates, and reminders you choose to send. We never sell, rent, or share your clients’ contact details, and we never email them on our own behalf.
We do not buy, sell, or use purchased or harvested email lists, and we ask that you do not use Billbooks to send invoices or messages to people who have not agreed to hear from you.
If you ever receive an email that appears to come from Billbooks but looks like spam or a phishing attempt, please do not click any links in it, and report it to our support team so we can investigate.
For anything related to this policy or how we handle email, reach out to our support team at any time. We’re happy to help.
